Is it a hat or is it a stingray?

I didn't know what to draw, so I started drawing random strokes. This and there and maybe something is created. It started to took shape. I was wondering what this could be. Then I added colors into what seems to group. And little by little, the character was created. I think it came to life when I added in the playful eyes.
 
I meant to spell "kite" because at first, I thought it looked like a kite. Then I notice I forgot the "e" in "kite". Now I look at the spelling, it kind of looks like "hat".
 
There's a random blue stroke at the bottom of the drawing. I accidently marked it when I was trying to save the drawing. It looks random, but nice, so I kept it.
